Vanessa re-joined Cara in 2026, having previously been part of our senior commercial team from 2008 to 2015. In the years between, she relocated to Mallorca, where she broadened her experience in the distribution side of the industry, learned Spanish, and went on to build a successful freelance career offering a wide range of strategic, sales, and marketing expertise – both within the travel industry and beyond.  

Drawing on her broad experience, strategic mindset, and strength in building strong professional relationships, her role at Cara is 100% dedicated to representing our client Decameron All Inclusive Hotels & Resorts across the UK & European markets.  

She works across all aspects of the role, from managing tour operator partnerships, to devising commercial strategies, negotiating contracts, securing marketing co-op agreements, and building awareness amongst the travel trade – all with the primary aim of increasing sales, distribution and market share for Decameron.
