Sales & Business Development Executive
If you’re looking for a role in luxury hotel representation, are great at building and maximising relationships, have a sound commercial acumen and bring a proactive and focussed approach to work each day, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
You’ll be working across two of our clients, with time shared between a ‘first of its kind’ luxury all-inclusive resort opening in Central America in late 2026, as well as a chain of unique all-inclusive properties plus DMC located on Mexico’s Riviera Maya.
The primary purpose of your role will be to increase sales, distribution and market share for these two clients - which will be achieved through exceptional account management of tour operator and other trade partners in the UK & European markets. In addition, you’ll be tasked with building travel agent knowledge and loyalty, establishing our clients’ brands and resorts as the “go to” luxury all-Inclusive products among the travel trade.
Expect a busy, varied role where no day is ever the same. Much of your time will be spent optimising new and existing tour operator reltionships, so you’ll have excellent people and negotiation skills, an abundance of creativity, and sound commercial insight to take advantage of all relevant sales and marketing opportunities. You’ll also be spending some of your time out on-the-road attending trade events, conducting product training to travel agents and tour operator reservations staff, and hosting the occasional FAM trip to our clients’ destinations and resorts.
Importantly, you’ll have the chance to build up relationships with each of these clients’ sales and commercial teams, obtaining a greater understanding of their needs, requirements and ways of working, and making it your responsibility to align these with the work you’re doing on their behalf out in the market.
You’ll report into one of our Joint Managing Directors, who will oversee your day-to-day work and always be on hand for mentorship, training and support - along with the wider Cara team.
This is a permanent, full-time role with the requirement to work at least 2 days per week from our South London office. Please don’t apply if you aren’t able to fulfil this requirement or if you don’t already have the required status to work in the UK.
The starting salary range for this role is £32,000 to £35,000 per year, depending on experience. You’ll also receive 25 days of holiday per year (plus bank holidays), company pension, hybrid working and great personal travel perks.
We’re looking to fill the position as soon as possible for a March/April start. If you’d like to apply, please email us your CV and tell us why you think you’re the right person for the role. A full job description is available on request. We look forward to hearing from you!
